Tim Hunter began his professional career within a family-owned enterprise in 1977, spending over 35 years helping operate and manage a custom manufacturing plant. Navigating decades of inventory management, overhead costs, and shifting economic climates provided him with deep, practical insights into true business health. In 2012, Tim transitioned into public accounting, driven by a determination to use his extensive private-industry knowledge to help other owners improve their day-to-day operations.

Established as a private practice in 2017, Tim Hunter CPA delivers streamlined accounting, proactive tax strategies, and hands-on QuickBooks ecosystem optimization. Owner & Founder

Tim Hunter brings more than 40 years of hands-on business and financial experience to small businesses across a wide range of industries. He graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from Valdosta State University, combining elite technical expertise with deep commercial insight.

Specializing in working with closely held companies facing complex tax implications, Tim is highly skilled in implementing efficient accounting architectures, automating payroll workflows, and establishing tailored point-of-sale (POS) solutions. Beyond his practice, Tim is deeply involved in local leadership programs in Albany, GA, and has frequently volunteered his time on community boards, church finance committees, and youth programs.

Kim Hunter brings a distinct blend of technical accounting precision and dedicated leadership experience to the firm. With decades of experience in small business bookkeeping and more than 30 years serving non-profit organizations, Kim understands the unique compliance and fund-accounting hurdles that charitable institutions face at every stage of growth.

She holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, seamlessly bridging technical bookkeeping accuracy with a strong foundational commitment to service, leadership, and ethical stewardship. Kim specializes in historical book cleanups, cloud-accounting system conversions, and structured monthly bookkeeping that empowers non-profit boards to make confident, compliant financial decisions.
