Tim Hunter began his career as a member of the family business in 1977. He helped operate and manage a custom manufacturing plant for over 35 years. In 2012, Tim decided to go into public accounting to use his knowledge of business to help clients improve their operations. In 2017, Tim went into private practice where he has earned an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification. He continues to help clients by streamlining accounting and bookkeeping procedures so owners can get back to what's important.
Tim has volunteered on community boards, church finance committees and youth/children programs. He is involved in leadership programs in Albany, GA and loves working hands on with clients and the community. He graduated magna cum laude with a masters degree in accounting from Valdosta State University.
Client security and safeguarding client/taxpayer data is a top priority with Tim Hunter CPA. We take confidentiality and the protection of client and firm documents and communications very seriously. That is why we have a very extensive information security plan as required by the Internal Revenue Service. This plan involves detailed guidelines and instructions on how we are to safeguard your data while providing safe and secure storage of documents and communications. Our plan's mission and objective are to create effective administrative, technical and physical safeguards in order to protect our client's non-public personal information.
